Which places should I visit on a first Kashmir trip?
Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam are the strongest first-time route. Add Sonamarg with a 6 day plan, and add Doodhpathri or Gurez when you want quieter or more remote landscapes.
How many days are enough for Kashmir?
Five to six days are enough for a balanced classic Kashmir trip. Seven days or more allow a family-friendly pace or additions such as Doodhpathri, Sonamarg overnight or Gurez.
Which Kashmir destination is best for snow?
Gulmarg is the strongest snow destination from late December to February, while Srinagar and Pahalgam can also receive snow depending on weather.
